Sarah Mathias, DDS, MS

Doctor Sarah Mathias is a different kind of dentist. With her unique charm she gets children involved and excited about their dental care.

While "Doctor Sarah" was studying for her doctorate at the University of Iowa, she discovered that she had a special connection with her young patients. This led her to the University of Illinois, where she received her Masters in Oral Sciences with a pediatric specialty. This rare designation is earned by fewer than 3% of all dentists. In addition, Dr. Sarah is highly involved in postgraduate education, including child behavior management and conscious sedation. She has also reached diplomat level in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. (That's just a fancy way of saying, "She knows her stuff!")

Doctor Sarah resides in Ladera Ranch with her husband, Bobby Ghandehari (a.k.a. Dr. Bobby - the orthodontist) and their son. Her hobbies include personal fitness, reading, scuba diving, and watching Formula One racing.
